Medelco RK202 Replacement K-Cup Filters For A Stronger Brew

Shop CoffeeForLess.com today for K-Cups and get an extra 6 pods for no additional cost!

Medelco RK202 Universal Single-Cup Replacement Coffee Filters are nice because they are larger than the filter that comes in your My K-cup. One of the problems that I have with the My K-Cup is the amount of coffee you can place in them. I enjoy a bold cup of coffee, and have never been able to get the coffee strong enough, when I refill My K-cup. The Medelco holds about 25% more coffee than the original, and now, my coffee is strong enough for my liking

K-Kaps An Easy Way To Refill K-Cups

These kaps will allow you to reuse your Keurig K-Cups many times. You can refill your K-Cups with your favorite coffee or tea. Three colors are included, clear, red, and green. In addition a cleaning brush is included which also can also be used as a removal tool to remove the kap from the K-Cup after it has been used.

The Keurig standard approach involves the purchase of K-Cups with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. The K-Cups make excellent coffee. But they each cost anywhere from $.25 to $.50 per cup depending on the quantity and where you purchase them. If you like to drink coffee like me, this can add up to quite a bill really quickly.

So you say, why not get a reusable K-Cup. Good idea. But there are a few problems with the system Keurig wants you to use. First the reusable K-Cups cost $14 and up. If you want 10 of them, that is $140 just for the reusable cups. Second, the Keurig’s resusable K-Cup does not produce as good of a cup of coffee as the K-Cup itself. The designs are different and the water flows out the sides of the filter rather than down through the coffee. Third, the design is big, bulky, and hard to store. If you already have a turnstile for K-Cups, you can not store these there. With this product you can.

The Kap allows you to recycle your K-Cups. Fill them with your favorite coffee or tea. And use them many times before they have to be thrown out for good. That lowers your cost for each cup of brew and also give you better brews each time.

EZ-Cup By Perfect Pod is for Keurig Coffee Machines. You can use any coffee that you have at home. A  self tamping spring extracts a better cup of coffee or tea. The EZ Cup MUST be used with EZ-Cup Filters

1. Place paper filter in center of EZ Cup and wrap edges around EZ Cup.

2. Place coffee in the filter.

3. Close paper filter lid and wrap lid edges around the rim.

4. Close the EZ Cup lid and make sure it is tightly closed.

5. Insert in your Keurig machine as you would a K-Cup.

I’ve come to the conclusion that the makers of the EZ cup need to rewrite their instructions. It’s not as easy as the box says. Here are the tips I’ve used to get the best cup of coffee on par with the k-cups and sometimes better:
1. Pre-ground coffee bought in store will work, even though the grind is slightly coarser than what you would find in a typical k-cup.

2. It isn’t necessary or recommended to reduce the height of the spring platform.
3. Before you put in the filter and coffee, push the spring platform out of the cup gently and wedge a small piece of thin cardboard or cardstock to hold the spring down.

4. Fill the filter with your favorite coffee before inserting into the EZ cup. Only fill to where the lip of the filter is, the lip is necessary to create a good seal with the lid. Once you’ve got the lid on, gently remove the cardstock to release the spring.

5. Don’t overfill and don’t pack in the coffee like they do at an expresso stand.

6. Have a rag on hand, the coffee that drips out splashes everywhere because it’s not a controlled drip stream like what you would get from a k-cup. Alternatively, hold your cup closer to the drip out.

refill kcups with disposa kupsDisposaKups
were created to fill a void that the Keurig Coffee maker has left in so many Coffee Lovers Homes. Finally you can brew the coffee of your choice in a disposable cup with less mess and zero clean up. Like most Keurig users, you purchased this coffee maker because of its ease of use and no-mess K cups. Using the Disposa Kup allows you to have the best of both worlds: Ease of use, No Mess, Disposable cup, while brewing your choice of Coffee, Tea, or Hot Cocoa.

One of the things that I like about the Disposa Kups are that they have a throw-away filter! When you order a set of the Disposa Kups, you get 50 cups, filters, and lids. If you choose, you can also order DisposaKup Filters
and re-use the cups and lids over again. Also with the replacement filters, you can use your original K-Cups over and over again by rinsing them and using a new filter.

There are several reasons for Keurig owners to buy an Ekobrew. First, there’s no need to remove the Keurig filter holster . Simply fill the Ekobrew
chamber with coffee, close the lid, place in the Keurig holster and brew. That’s it. The Ekobrew was designed for ease of use. Place the flat bottom on any flat surface, lift the easy open lid and fill with your ground coffee. The cost of re-filling the Ekobrew is between .10 and .20 cents. But more than anything, the makers of Ekobrew think that making the Earth a better place to live is the best of all.

After trying this product out, it works pretty well.  The thing about it that I do not like, is that it does not work well with fine grinds of coffee.  The ekobrew does not do a great job of  steeping all the coffee when the water passes through a fine grind.  If you use a more coarse grind, though, the Ekobrew is a very good way to refill k cups.
